Project Overview
Delivered PLC & SCADA automation for a large-scale government grain storage and packing facility, supporting safe, reliable, and continuous operation across receiving, storage, and packing processes. Responsibilities included PLC logic development, SCADA configuration, installation supervision, FAT support, and commissioning.

- Function 1: Receiving grain from reception pits and storing in silos
- Function 2: Receiving grain from jetty systems and storing in silos
- Function 3: Reception pits ➝ packing lines (bulk & bagged flow)
- Function 4: Storage silos ➝ packing lines
- Function 5: Storage silos ➝ enriched rice 5 kg packing only
- Function 6: Reception pits ➝ enriched rice 5 kg packing only
Key Automation Scope
- Conveyor and bucket elevator sequencing with reverse start-up logic
- Automatic silo selection, routing, and overflow protection
- Safety interlocks, emergency stops, belt slip and overload protection
- Centralised SCADA monitoring with live status, alarms, and operator control
Outcome
Implemented a fully automated, high-capacity, and safety-compliant grain handling system, enabling stable 24/7 operation and efficient bulk and packing workflows in line with government standards.
